approach

by tm on December 13, 2008

The short days and early darkness of December have me longing for spring in the arboretum with my camera. I find solace in reviewing the thousands of photographs I’ve taken over the year and finding jewels in the rough. Photographs that I may not have noticed earlier, spark interest now.

The image above is Approach, original photograph with digital painting, c2008 Tricia McKellar. Coming soon to my 1000 Markets shop: triciamckellar.1000markets.com

Hi, Tricia. I just got your comment on my blog. Thank you so much for your compliments. It’s kind of funny because I just joined 1,000 Markets and Etsy last night and saw your work and was going to send you a message. I love your artwork as well, especially the bird series. I have a few bird ones myself but am still shuffling through all of my images and deciding what to post.
Anyway, I wanted to say thank you. I am just really starting to promote my the fine art side of my photography so I am hoping to get my name out there. I will definitely be watching your work.

Later,
Tia
